Sobriety checkpoint coming

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio--A sobriety checkpoint will be in operation in Clark County Friday, Jan. 21
The Clark County OVI Task Force says the time and location will be released Friday.
It's part of a monthly effort to crack down on impaired drivers and enforce traffic laws.
The OVI Task Force was formed after local agencies received a $136,000 grant from the Ohio Traffic Safety Office.
Thirteen law enforcement and government agencies are partnered in the effort.
The task force is comprised of the Clark County Combined Health District, Springfield Police Division, Clark County Sheriff's Office, Ohio Highway Patrol, Ohio Department of Transportation, Clark County EMA, Springfield Fire and Rescue Box 27, Ohio Investigative Unit and police departments in North Hampton, Enon, South Charleston, Tremont City and German Twp.
