Several primaries in Indiana and Ohio are in the national spotlight on election day. The Ohio and Indiana Senate races are among the most competitive in the nation. Election results will start to come in after polls close at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in Indiana and Ohio, respectively.
Ohio Governor Primary
Dennis Kucinich and Richard Cordray lead the Democratic field while the Republican race between Mike DeWine and Mary Taylor has gotten heated in the weeks leading up to election day.
Indiana U.S. Senate Republican Primary
The winner of the Indiana Primary would face Democratic incumbent Joe Donnelley.
Ohio U.S. Senate Republican Primary
Mike Gibbons and Jim Renacci are the key candidates in Ohio's Senate primary. The winner would face incumbent Sherrod Brown.
