Hamilton police officers, Butler County Sheriff’s deputies and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers diverted 18 vehicles for further investigation.
Reising said the preliminary results of Friday’s checkpoint resulted in:
- One OVI arrest
- Five were cited for no driver license.
- Three were cited for suspended licenses.
- One citation for expired plates and for fictitious plates which was an altered temporary tag.
- Two for child restraint system — children not in child seats in the same car.
- Two were arrested for outstanding warrants.
- One charge of possession of drug instruments/needles
- One violation of temporary drivers permit because there was not another licensed driver in the car.10 vehicles were towed.

In addition, Reising said saturation patrol units around the checkpoint made two additional OVI arrests as well.
