>> Passing showers, storms today; Flood Advisory, Flood Watch in effect

Here's what you can expect:

Saturday: Most of the races are in the morning and that is our best chance for dry weather. Temperatures will be in the mid 50s around sunrise and climb to the mid 60s by noon. A lot of clouds will be moving in but the rain should hold off until afternoon midday. Scattered showers and some thunder will be possible for the end of the events.

>> Flooding: Know your risks

Sunday: The best part of the weekend is actually Sunday, and that is great news for everyone running the marathon. Despite a cool start in the upper 40s around sunrise, temperatures will climb nicely by noon getting into the low 60s.

Clouds will be broken for some sunshine during the event and there will be a light northwesterly breeze. If you will be in the city for after the race fun, temperatures will climb to the low 70s. Remember your sunscreen though, the UV index will be around an 8 or 9.
