The ODA was directed to begin hemp research after Governor DeWine signed Senate Bill 57 into law, decriminalizing hemp and licensing its cultivation.
These first plants will be placed in the ground by ODA Director Dorothy Pelanda along with Hemp Program Executive Director David Miran and Division of Plant Health Chief Dan Kenny.
