The State of Ohio has been named Energy Efficiency Champion.
The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) was recognized for its strong commitment to energy efficiency and was one of 19 entities named an Energy Efficiency Champion by AEP Ohio.
“DAS continually looks for ways to reduce energy use to save taxpayer dollars and the environment, DAS Director Matt Damschroder said. “We appreciate AEP Ohio for not only recognizing DAS, but for highlighting organizations who can serve as role models for other building owners and managers.”
DAS was nominated for projects completed last year, which will save nearly two gigawatts ($110,640) of energy annually.
