Practice drills by the Miami Valley Communications Council’s Tactical Crime Suppression Unit’s SWAT team will occur today and Wednesday in West Carrollton.
The drills will occur at a vacant duplex at 20 N. Miami Ave., officials said. The property is targeted for demolition through the Montgomery County Land Bank later this spring, according to West Carrollton officials.

The MVCC’s TCSU consists of Centerville, Germantown Kettering, Miamisburg, Moraine, Oakwood, Springboro and West Carrollton
The West Carrollton Fire Department will also conduct search and rescue drills, and practice ventilation and laddering techniques at the property from March 19 to April 6.
