Investigators said the Lohrs had a Triadelphia, W.Va. address. They said James Lohr was wanted for murder.
Shelby County deputies were told James Lohr may have been in the area of northern Shelby County and Interstate 75.
Deputies later discovered that Lohr made several phone calls connected to a cellular telephone tower in northern Shelby County.
At 5 a.m. Wednesday, Deputy Brian Dotson spotted the couple inside a van that was parked in high weeds near some semitrailers near L and O Tire Repair on Route 119.
James Lohr was taken into custody without incident. Medics from Anna were called after he complained of chest pain.
He was taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital under a deputy’s guard to be checked out, then released and taken to the Shelby County Jail to wait for a court appearance for extradition back to West Virginia.
At the request of authorities in West Virginia, Angela Lohr was released.
