Brown attended Northmont High School.
Brown’s father, Vernon Brown, was the owner of Brown and Sons Nursery and Garden Center outside of Phillipsburg. He was shot and killed inside his home in 2003.
Four men were charged for Vernon Brown’s fatal shooting. Three were convicted, while one awaits trial in April.
