All occupants were accounted for after a train slammed into a stopped truck at a Miamisburg railroad crossing Sunday morning.
Fire crews and police were dispatched in the area of Lower Miamisburg Road and South Riverview Avenue around 12:55 a.m. on a reported crash involving a truck and train.
Initial reports indicated all occupants of the vehicle were located by firefighters when they arrived on scene. The truck was found in the backyard of a home in the 1000 block of Sibert Avenue, several blocks away from the scene of the crash.
Police said the vehicle became stuck on the tracks for an unknown reason and the occupants attempted to move it, but were too late before the train slammed into it.
No injuries were reported and medics were allowed to clear the scene.
