Tanker crash shuts down busy freeway in Columbus

Part of a major highway around Columbus
has been shut down by a fuel spill that resulted from a deadly
crash

Interstate 270 is closed in both directions on the northeast
side of the city after a tanker truck overturned Monday night,
killing the driver. Multiple media outlets report that a hole was
torn in the tanker and caused it to leak about 3,000 gallons of the
gasoline it was hauling.

Fire officials say the cleanup could keep the section of freeway
closed into Tuesday afternoon.
Police tell The Columbus Dispatch it's unclear what caused the
accident. No other vehicles were involved and no one else was hurt.
