Trotwood Pastor Accused Of Embezzlement By Church Members

An emergency church meeting was held Tuesday night and led to an area pastor retiring amid allegations of embezzling.

Rev. John Jackson Jr. was pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Trotwood. Some church members claim that Jackson has been embezzling church money.

Jackson’s lawyer said there is no reason to believe that his client has done anything wrong. At this time, police have not filed any charges.

Jackson is likely to step down before next year.
