Ricky Woods died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at Hospice of Dayton. His cause of death is listed as blunt force trauma, and his body has been released to a funeral home, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
The Troy Police Department said the accident remains under investigation.
Woods was born in Dayton, and formerly lived in Riverside. Services will be held later at the convienience of the family, according to his obituary on the Baird Funeral Home website.

Ricky Woods, a 31-year-old Troy man hit by a car last month at Tim Horton’s, has succumbed to his injuries.

A male was seriously injured when he walked into the path of a vehicle at Tim Horton’s restaurant, 700 W. Main St., in Troy.
The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight for treatment of head injuries, according to officials at the scene.
Police said a female motorist pulled away from the drive-through window and struck the pedestrian.
Who was at-fault was not immediately clear. Police continue to investigate.

CareFlight is responding after a person was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot at Tim Horton’s restaurant, 700 W. Main St. in Troy.
