2 on motorcycle flown by medical helicopter after crash late Tuesday in Butler County

A motorcycle crash late Tuesday night sent the driver and passenger to a Dayton hospital with serious injuries, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Butler County dispatchers received a report at 10:03 p.m. of a crash in the 6200 block of Howe Road in Madison Twp.

Daniel Wallis, 47, of Germantown, went off the right side of the road on his 2021 Harley-Davidson and was unable to get the motorcycle back on the road, according to the sheriff’s office crash report. The ditch dropped off about six feet, the report said.

Wallis was flown to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight. He’s in critical condition this afternoon, according to a hospital official.

The passenger, Stephanie Rock, 30, of Middletown, was flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by AirCare, according to the crash report. But an official at Miami Valley said she’s a patient there and her condition is unknown.

The driver and passenger were not wearing helmets, according to the report.
