Two Men Wanted In Connection With Cash Express Robbery

A local man was robbed at gunpoint after cashing a large retirement check, police said.

The robbery happened around 2 p.m. Thursday at the ACE America Cash Express on Salem Avenue. Deputies said two men in masks pointed guns at the 44-year-old man and demanded cash.

Investigators said the robbers' getaway car was caught on tape. It is described as a mid-90s Mercury Marquis with four doors and possible damage to the passenger's side.
