Union City, Ind. loses 225 jobs as plant closes

Employees of the Workhorse Custom Chassis in Union City, Ind., are working their final days as Navistar follows through on plans to move that facility to other existing Navistar facilities in Indiana.

It means the loss of 225 jobs in Union City, Ind.

The mayor of Union City, Bryan Conklin, said the closing of the Workhorse facility is a "dark day" and a "tough one to take."

The production of assembly chassis of trucks, vans and buses came to a halt last week.
