The change comes just in time for Wheel’s Secret Santa shows, which are in special partnership with Disney for the first time this year.
The show has awarded more than $2.5 million in cash and prizes to viewers thanks to the “Secret Santa Holiday Giveaway” over the years.
From now through Dec. 20, every in-studio contestant will become a “Secret Santa” to an at-home viewer. If the viewer has a Wheel Watchers Club SPIN ID number, they will be eligible to win the same prizes won by an in-studio contestant.
At the end of regular game play, when the totals for the 2nd and 3rd place contestants are announced, the SPIN ID numbers of the Wheel Watchers Club members they were playing for are revealed.
We know what you’re thinking-- who’s handling pressing the letters?!
As part of these special shows, White is accompanied on stage by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other Disney friends, who have been filling in at the letter board.
Watch highlights from the first ‘Secret Santa’ show above, and be sure to tune into the rest of the shows on Channel 7 for your chance to win.
