UPDATE @ 6 p.m.:
Two people were taken by ambulance to West Chester Hospital for non life-threatening injuries, according to Barb Wilson, the township’s spokeswoman.
The scene was cleared at 5:30 p.m.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, Wilson said.
INITIAL REPORT:
Emergency units are responding to a crash at a busy Butler County intersection.
The crash at the corner of Tylersville and Cox roads happed at 4:39 p.m. and firefighters are on the scene working to free someone trapped in the vehicle, according to the West Chester Twp. emergency dispatchers.
One lane of traffic is shut down heading west on Tylersville Road, dispatchers said.
