One person is dead following a crash that reportedly involved a farm tractor in Auglaize County Saturday evening.
The crash happened near St. Marys near the intersection of State Route 219 and County Road 66A around 5:15 p.m. Eddie R. Badertscher, 64, of Celina, was driving a 1964 International tractor south on CR 66A when it went off the left side of the road, through a residential lawn and struck some trees, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
The tractor then went into a small creek and overturned, pinning Badertscher. He was pronounced dead on the scene by the Augliaze County coroner.
A medical condition is the suspected caused of the accident, but the crash remains under investigation by the Wapakoneta Post of OSP.
