FIRST REPORT: Driver killed in early morning Butler County crash
Abel Gonzalez, 48, of Wilmington, Calif., died of blunt force trauma on July 2, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
Gonzalez, who was alone in the vehicle, was driving south on Interstate 75 near Union Centre Boulevard at about 12:30 a.m. and hit a guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It took several days for the Butler County Coroner’s Office to find and notify next of kin, officials said.
