According to his obituary, Prenger was "a coach for youth baseball, soccer, and basketball and was an avid weight lifter." He is the father of a twin son and daughter. Prenger was a graduate of Versailles High School and Bowling Green State University.
His death is being investigated by Versailles police and the Darke County Coroner's Office.
His funeral will be Wednesday morning with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
