Weather causes Fairfield to reschedule Easter egg hunt

The city of Fairfield will reschedule this weekend’s Hoppin’ at Harbin to Saturday, March 31 at Harbin Park due to the anticipated inclement weather.

Hoppin’ at Harbin is the annual Easter egg hunt presented by the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department and will feature visits with the Easter Bunny, games and activities.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. on March 31 and the egg hunt will start at 11 a.m. Children will be divided into three age groups for the hunt: 3 years and under, 4- to 5-year olds, and 6- to 8-year olds.

Activities scheduled include bunny face paint, a “hop-stacle” course and a children’s craft.
