Winds will make it feel chillier than it is

Winds expected tonight will make it feel as though it is 20 degrees, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Erica Collura.

Clouds will linger tonight because of a low pressure system to the south of the region, and that will keep temperatures from falling into the teens.

A weak cold front will pass through on Thursday as clouds will remain through the morning and into the afternoon, with a little more sun late in the day.

Thursday afternoon highs will be seasonable, but wind chills will make it seem as though temperatures will return to the 20s, Collura said. Winds will pick up later of Friday and through the weekend.

Wind chills Friday night and Saturday morning will be in the teens. High temperatures Saturday will be in the 40s, but it will feel more like the 30s, Collura said.
