The 48-year-old woman told officers she was waiting up for her daughter to get back home when she heard a knock at the door. She told police that she did not know the man at the door and would not open the door for him.

When the victim did not open the door, the suspect later identified as Frank Johnson Jr., 34, allegedly forced the door open.

Emergency dispatchers told the woman to barricade herself in her bedroom until officers arrived.

The victim told dispatchers that she could hear the man kicking the door in and entering the house, where he started rummaging through the house looking for valuables.

Officers arrived within minutes and immediately arrested Johnson without any harm coming to the victim.

Johnson was found with $62, which he reportedly stole from the victim's purse when he was in the home.

Johnson also had an outstanding warrant out of Greene County for theft. He now also faces a burglary charge in Montgomery County.
