Woman hit, killed on rural road in Clark County

A woman was hit and killed Thursday night on a rural road in Clark County.

The crash involving the pedestrian was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Dolly Varden Road in Madison Twp., according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol

A medical helicopter initially was requested, but the woman, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, the OSHP said.
