Woman Wanted For Passing Fake Checks

Police in Oakwood are searching for a woman who was caught on camera cashing fake checks.

Officers said last month, a woman tried to cash a fake check that was worth nearly $500 at the Liberty Savings Bank on Far Hills Avenue.

According to police, earlier in the day, the same woman got away with it a different Liberty Savings Bank branch.

Officers said the woman used an Ohio ID card in the name of Jasmine Eddings that was issued in Cleveland. They said she left in a black Cadillac SUV.
