In Memorial of
Milton Lee Ridley &
Beatrice Ridley
Milton and Beatrice Ridley honored their Wedding Vows on December 12th, 1959 at Mt. Calvary missionary Baptist Church at 3300 West Third Street, by the late Reverend Samuel N. Winston Sr. They raise one son, Melvin Lee Ridley, (Bettie) of Wichita, Kansas, two grandsons, Corey D. Ridley of Aurora Colorado, and Melvin L. Ridley II, (Monique) of Overland Park Kansas, two Great Grand Daughters, Aujenea, stationed at Hampton Virginia, and Teriana of Marietta Georgia. Three Great Grandsons, Jaquwan, Corey D. Jr, (Spider Man), and Melvin Lee the 3rd, (called Trey) all of Overland Park, Kansas. On December 23rd, 2004 the lord called Milton Lee Ridley home. Precious Milton, the Lord picked our biggest rose, leaving those who love you here to try and endured the pain". We miss the Godly Man, the wisdom he shared in every part of his life. Starting with his loving and faithful wife Beatrice. Milton, not only shared his wisdom with family, but with every person he encountered. Our Joy and Peace come from remembering those words of our beloved family member. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me "Philippians 4:13."After fourteen years Beatrice Ridley went home to be with her Lord an Savior. On October 17th, 2017, He picked the other half of our Big Rose. our hearts are truly broken,
because Beatrice shared not only love and wisdom, but she shared her love of cooking rolls, cakes, and everything she had with those on this earthly world. We know the journey would lead us to a home of greater worth, when it leads to heaven, our hearts and souls rejoice, and our earthly cares all vanish when at last we hear God say welcome home, my
precious child. Now a precious one from us is gone. A voice we love is stilled. A places is vacant in our home, that never can be filled. They will not be forgotten, though on earth, they are no more. They will be with us in memory; as they
always were before.
