SHERROCK, Amy L.

AMY L. SHERROCK, age 38, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021, at

Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Springfield on July 23, 1982, the daughter of Eugene and Sharon (McDonald) Petty. Amy was the most beloved of wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, and sister. Her love for her family was truly

limitless. She is survived by her husband Justin Sherrock, son Jack, daughters Lucy and Annie, as well as her sisters Sarah (Petty) Parks and Pebbles Bates, brothers Eugene Petty and Malachi Owens, father and mother Eugene and Sharon Petty, and grandfathers William McDonald and Richard Petty. Amy dedicated over 15 years of her life to the nursing profession, most notably her

accomplishment of becoming a family nurse practitioner. Amy was known for her contagious smile, being compassionate, caring, and being a true advocate for her patients. She was knowledgeable, had a passion for learning, and served as a mentor to dozens of her colleagues. For the safety of the

people that Amy loved, private services will be held for her family and closest friends. Amy's celebration of life will be live streamed beginning at 11:30am Friday, January 8, 2021, on the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME FACEBOOK PAGE, Amy will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Burial Park.
