Leo Bistro, the eatery inside the Dayton Art Institute at 56 Belmonte Park North, will reopen, Alexis Larsen, the museum's external affairs director, said in the following statement:

"Leo Bistro is temporarily closed, as we prepare to introduce exciting new changes for our café. We apologize to our visitors for any inconvenience during this time. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the museum's Guest Services Desk during regular hours, and our Guest Services staff will be happy to recommend other dining options in the downtown area while the Bistro is closed. Watch the museum's website, at www.daytonartinstitute.org/leobistro, and its social media pages for updates about the exciting changes coming to Leo Bistro, as well as an announcement of when the Bistro will reopen. We think you'll like the changes, and we look forward to sharing more with you in the coming weeks."

The eatery has been closed since Jan. 3.

A reopening date has not been determined yet, Larsen said.
