FOOD FREEBIE: Penn Station offering free fries for one week

Penn Station East Coast Subs was looking for an idea to help folks ring in the new year, or perhaps to recover from the end of the last one.

The fast-casual sub sandwich chain with multiple locations in the Miami Valley settled on a “Happy New Year from our president” promotion of free fries.

“We want to thank and reward our customers in the New Year,” Craig Dunaway, president of Penn Station, said in a release. “After a busy holiday season, this will be a nice treat for our customers at the beginning of 2019. Our fries are one of our most popular menu items, so it’s the perfect item to delight customers.”
