The coffee shop’s annual Lumberjack festival was held in September.

It is not much to look at once you slice it, but the Lumberjack Pie tastes so good you might find yourself wanting to eat the whole dang thing in one sitting.

Anderson said the Lumberjack Pie is a creation of  Mandy Smith, a seven-year employee and its baker for about four years.

“We wanted a new custom pie for the (annual) pie sale,” he said. “It is addictive and a little piece goes a long way because it is really rich.”

Smith drew inspiration from pie recipes — derby pie; chess pie and the crack pie to name a few.

The Lumberjack Pie also pays homage to Ghostlight’s popular Lumberjack Latte with its maple, cinnamon and smoked sea salt.

The pie has a list of ingredients that includes butter, heavy cream, salt and maple and brown sugars. It has a crunchy cinnamon cookie crust.
