Big brassy displays of pyrotechnics will be happening all over the region on July 3 and 4.
Along with flashy shows of light in the sky, grills will be put through the paces giving off their own light and delicious meals will be had.
The City of Dayton’s "Lights in Flight" Fireworks show takes place this year on July 3, with the big show lighting up the sky at 10 p.m. Starting at 5 p.m. there will be a multi-cultural festival featuring live entertainment.
If you are looking to make a day of it and don't want to fire up the grill, Table 33 will be hosting its second annual Independence Day Patio Party from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. July 3, with hours that bookend to the downtown festival nicely.
A $5 cover at the door will get you a BBQ buffet, live music by BJSR, and patio games. The Patio Party is sponsored by Toxic Brew Co. and Middle West Spirits. Proceeds will go to UpDayton and the Miami Valley Life Alliance.
Regardless of when you decide to go, Table 33 is worth a visit whenever you can. A few reasons:
- The patio is one of the best in downtown Dayton.
- Their locally sourced menu is gluten free and vegetarian friendly.
- Their coffee is strong and delicious.
- Their fruit juices are fresh and bright.
- Their full service bar has the craft beer or the craft cocktails you are craving.
It's been a busy time for the restaurant as it continues to make updates and expand on the successful foundation its already laid.
In January the restaurant started serving Sunday brunch and in late April Table 33 opened a second location inside the Dayton Metro Library’s downtown branch at 215 E. Third St. that is open 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
"We deeply value the opportunity to be a place where people gather. Whether it’s a mid-week business lunch with colleagues or a weekend brunch with family, we feel honored to host both the conversations and people that matter most to you." — Table 33 website
If you haven't been this is a stop that will have you seeing and feeling the revitalization that downtown Dayton has been experiencing of late. Table 33 has an exciting, hip vibe that its menu delivers on.
