2018 recruit picks Seton Hall over Dayton, Minnesota

Anthony Nelson, a 2018 recruit who visited Dayton in September, picked Seton Hall over the Dayton Flyers and Minnesota on Tuesday, announcing his verbal commitment with a video posted to Twitter.

Nelson is a 6-foot-4 guard from Harlem, N.Y., who attends the South Kent Preparatory School (Conn.).

ESPN gives Nelson a four-star ranking and ranks him No. 29 among shooting guard in the class of 2018.

Dayton filled one 2018 scholarship when guard Dwayne Cohill announced his verbal commitment. Dayton will have one more scholarship open if suspended forward Sam Miller doesn't return to the program.
