Alex Erickson rated one of PFF’s top preseason WRs

Alex Erickson, who made the Bengals’ roster, may prove more than just a special teamer.

Erickson graded out as Pro Football Focus’ most productive receiver on a pre-route basis. He caught 10 of his 15 targets for 163 yards.

The question remains: Is Erickson just a preseason standout-type, or can he put it together when it really counts? With John Ross slated to potentially miss some time, Erickson may get his chance.
