Looks like Ahmad Wagner has company.

Less than a week after the former Wayne star announced he is leaving the Iowa basketball team to try his hand at football, Darius Harper shared via Twitter he plans to do the same thing.

Harper played football and basketball at Springfield before signing to play roundball at Miami University in Oxford.

The 6-foot-8, 290-pounder played in 30 games as a freshman in 2016-17 but saw action in only six games last season, the first under new RedHawks coach Jack Owens.

Harper was a 247Sports three-star offensive tackle prospect and the No. 32 player in Ohio in the Class of 2016.

In his announcement, Harper said he is open to joining the Miami football team.

“I had fun playing basketball and all the places it (has) taken me, but I have been thinking of my future for me and my family and want to go back to my first love,” Harper said. “I hope everyone can respect my decision.”
