It’s beginning to look a lot like Spring — in Arizona, anyway.
Spring Training for the Cincinnati Reds begins today in Goodyear, Ariz. when pitchers and catchers report. The first workout is Thursday.
The full squad reports Monday. The first full squad workout is Tuesday.
The Reds are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2014 campaign in which they won just 76 games and finished fourth in the National League Central, 14 games behind St. Louis. The Reds reached the playoffs in 2012 and 2013.
The Reds first Spring Training game is March 3 against the Cleveland Indians, with whom they share the complex in Goodyear.
Opening Day is April 6 vs. the Pirates.
