Beavercreek girls best Centerville

Ashley Howard’s goal proved the difference as Beavercreek defeated Centerville 2-1 in a Greater Western Ohio Conference Central girls soccer tilt on Wednesday.

Sierra Peacock scored the first goal for Beavercreek (12-3-1) and Amy Simpson had the goal for Centerville (11-2-3).

Beavercreek was ranked No. 3 in Division I in the area coaches’ poll; Centerville was ranked No. 2.

Northmont 2, Wayne 1: Mariah Crosby scored the game-winner for Northmont (10-3-3).

Fairmont 14, Springfield 0: Fairmont (5-10-1) won in blowout fashion on senior night.

Troy 1, Piqua 0: Kina Sekito scored the lone goal for Troy (6-7-2).

Alter 4, Chaminade Julienne 0: Danielle Ruffolo had a goal and an assist and Kyly Borton added three assists for Alter (11-5).

Tippecanoe 3, Kenton Ridge 1: Lexi Blair had a goal and an assist for Tippecanoe (13-0-3).
