The Cincinnati Bengals waived 11 players today to reduce the roster to 79 ahead of Tuesday’s 4 p.m. deadline to get to 75.

Today’s cuts include wide receivers Michael Bennett and Antwane Grant, linebackers Jayson DiManche and Darien Harris, defensive end Jack Gangwish, kicker Zach Hocker, quarterback Joe Licata, fullback Jeff Luc, tight end John Peters, safety Floyd Raven and cornerback Corey Tindal.

Among the moves likely to be made Tuesday will be placing defensive tackle Brandon Thompson on the Physically Unable to Perform list as he continues to recover from the torn ACL he suffered in last year’s season finale.

If the Bengals elect to clear space by placing a player on Injured Reserve, that player would not be eligible for the designation to return. Only players who make the final 53, which will be announced Saturday, can be considered for the designation to return.
