Bengals, Browns reportedly among 4 to meet with Oklahoma’s Joe Mixon

The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns are among teams who could be interested in controversial Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon.

ESPN reports Ohio’s NFL teams were joined by the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints as teams that met privately with Mixon on Tuesday night in Norman prior to his Pro Day, which is scheduled for today.

Mixon ran for over 2,000 yards in two seasons on the field for the Sooners after he was suspended for the 2014 campaign after punching a female student.

He was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last week/weekend because of that incident.

Mixon is among more than a dozen Sooners set to work out for NFL teams in Norman on Wednesday.
