One of the worst plays in the 23-17 preseason loss the Cincinnati Bengals suffered Sunday at Washington was the one that was getting the most likes on social media.

When Bengals punter Kevin Huber felt the pressure coming from his left side late in the third quarter, he pulled the ball back, wrapped it around his back and tried to roll out to get the kick off, only to be slammed to the turf by Robertson for an 8-yard loss.

Huber’s nifty hidden ball trick was an instant hit on social media.

“It’s not the kind of play I want to have go viral,” he said. “It’s a breakdown in protection. We got out there with 10 guys and it’s on all of us to make sure we have enough guys. So luckily it was in the preseason we can learn from it – hopefully it never happens again.”

Huber said he’s not sure why he decided to try the move, or how he even pulled it off.

“I’ve played basketball before, but I’m not a very good basketball player,” he said. “I don’t really know where it came from. I haven’t checked my phone yet, but I’m sure I’ve got some buddies who are wondering where that came from as well.

“I didn’t really know I did it until after the fact,” he added. “I guess it was instinct.”

One of the first to chime in on the play was former Indianapolis punter and current Barstool Sports host Pat McAfee, who invited Huber to come on his show this week.
