Bengals release preseason schedule

The Cincinnati Bengals will play their first two preseason games at home before visiting an old friend for a nationally televised game and eventually wrapping up against an old foe.

The preseason schedule, which was released Monday, begins the weekend of Aug. 10-13, when Tampa Bay visits Paul Brown Stadium. That means the Bengals could be back on Hard Knocks, albeit in more of a cameo role as reports indicate the Buccaneers expect to be picked as the subject this year.

The following weekend, Aug. 17-20, the Bengals will play host to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The nationally televised game will be against former offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and the Washington Redskins on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 4:30 p.m. on FOX. The preseason slate concludes with a road game in Indianapolis the weekend of Aug. 31-Sept. 2.
