The official injury report won’t come out until Friday afternoon, but you probably can go ahead scratch off Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert for Sunday’s game at Green Bay.
And scratch your head over rookie wide receiver John Ross’s status after the first-round pick was listed as limited with an illness Wednesday before being downgraded to out Thursday with a knee injury.

Eifert, who had offseason back surgery, is dealing with a back issue again and missed at least his second consecutive practice Thursday (Monday’s session was not open to the media).
Ross left the preseason finale at Indianapolis with a knee injury that kept him out of the opener, but he started Thursday night against Houston.

Trey Hopkins also remains out with a knee injury suffered in the season opener, but the right guard has been doing rehab work on the side field this week.
The other two players who were limited with ilness Wednesday, tackles Jake Fisher and Cedric Ogbuehi were both full participants Thursday.

Defensive tackle Geno Atkins (shoulder) was limited for a second day in a row, while cornerback KeiVarae Russell (hamstring) and safety Derron Smith (ankle) were new additions to the report and listed as limited.
