Bengals to be without 2 starters vs. Steelers

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vinny Rey and safety Shawn Williams will miss their second consecutive game, while linebacker Nick Vigil will miss the first of his career Monday night against Pittsburgh

Rey and Williams are dealing with hamstring injuries, while Vigil hurt his ankle in last week’s win against Cleveland.

The absence of Vigil and Rey means rookie sixth-round pick Jordan Evans will get the start at SAM linebacker and be tasked with trying to limit was Pittsburgh running back Le’Veon Bell can do in the passing game.

The only other player on the injury report is Michael Johnson, who was listed as a full participant Thursday before showing up as limited Friday and then sitting out Saturday with a back injury.

Johnson also was questionable for the Week 9 game at Jacksonville due to his back, but he started and played 70 percent of the snaps. He has appeared in 10 of 11 games this year, missing only the Week 2 Thursday night game against Houston with a concussion.

Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, who was limited Friday due to illness, was a full participant Saturday.
