Big Ten honors Tate Martell for historic passing performance

Ohio State quarterbacks have won two Big Ten football awards in as many weeks.

The conference announced Monday morning Tate Martell is the Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week after his performance in a win over Rutgers.

Martell completed 10 of 10 passes for 121 yards, establishing a school record for completion percentage, as the Buckeyes crushed the Scarlet Knights 52-3 on Saturday.

Ohio State hits the road this week to take on No. 15 TCU in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday night.
