Perhaps frustration with the Cincinnati Bengals offseason is not limited to the team’s fans.

Within hours of the news running back Rex Burkhead signed with the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, veteran defensive end Carlos Dunlap tweeted, "I don't see the plan but guess that's not my role to either."

Perhaps he was referring to something completely unrelated, but it’s not hard to see why anyone associated with the team has questions about how things are going.

After missing the playoffs in 2016, the Bengals have seen five players sign with other teams since the start of free agency.

Before Burkhead, Cincinnati lost tackle Andrew Whitworth (Los Angeles Rams), guard Kevin Zeitler (Cleveland Browns), defensive end Margus Hunt (Indianapolis Colts) and defensive tackle Domata Peko (Denver Broncos) as free agents this month.
