Centerville grad Ifeadi Odenigbo released by Minnesota Vikings

Ifeadi Odenigbo, the Centerville High School grad who played college football at Northwestern and taken this year in he NFL draft, was cut Saturday by the Minnesota Vikings, according to the St.  Pioneer Press.

Odenigbo was a highly-touted defensive out of high school and had a stellar career at Northwestern, finishing second all-time in sacks and named first-team All-Big Ten as a senior. Considered athletic but raw, he was one of four players picked in the seventh round in the NFL draft this year by Minnesota.
