Centerville High School graduate Morgan Colopy was selected by the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday in the 34th round (1,016th overall) of the Major League Baseball Draft.

Colopy, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound outfielder, hit .407 with five home runs and 36 RBIs this season for the Elks.
