Charles Barkley: Ezekiel Elliott ‘just stupid’ to be at pot shop

Charles Barkley is a lot of things.

Hall of Fame basketball player. Entertaining television analyst. Poor golfer.

He is not, however, a marijuana aficionado it turns out.

And as such, he seems to agree with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' assessment Ezekiel Elliott's choice to visit a legal pot shop during a trip to Seattle last week "wasn't good."

Barkley took it a bit farther, though, as he tends to do.

"That's just stupid," Barkley told WIP radio in Philadelphia (via CSNPhilly.com). "Come on, man. You gotta be smarter than that."

He went on to explain his personal history with the whacky weed.

“I’m not a marijuana guy,” Barkley said. “I smoked pot like five times in my life. All it made me want to do was eat potato chips. It was like a waste of my time. I didn’t feel no euphoria, it didn’t take me to no special place. I just said, ‘Do we have any more potato chips in the state of Alabama or Pennsylvania?’”
