The Cincinnati Bengals signed tight end Jordan Franks off the practice squad today to replace Mason Schreck, who was placed on the reserve/injured list.

Franks, a rookie from Central Florida, signed with the team as a college free agent this year. He had two catches for 19 yards in the preseason.

Schreck suffered a knee injury in Sunday’s 45-10 loss to Kansas City. He played in six of the Bengals’ seven games this season. Schreck, a second-year player, spent his entire rookie season on IR with a knee injury. The Bengals lost tight end Tyler Eifert to a season-ending ankle injury last month.

The Bengals signed linebacker Brandon Bell to the practice squad.
