Cincinnati Reds announce Arizona-based employee has tested positive for coronavirus

The Cincinnati Reds announced Wednesday a team employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.

The club made the announcement as a precautionary note to those who were in their facility from Feb. 29-March 14.

The employee is based in Arizona, and the team says Reds staff who came in close contact with the person have self-quarantined and are being tested.
